The exam pattern of the lecturer is not too typical. We start with the marking scheme. It’s a written exam based on objective type questions where each question carries ½  marks. There are 80 objective-type questions with a total mark of 40. The candidate should prepare properly for the examination because selection to the stage totally depends on clearing the written examination.

Duration of the examination is 2 hours.

The marking pattern has been designed in such a way that it does become difficult for the authority to select eligible and well-qualified candidates. It is a total score securing examination that consists of a written test, interview, academic qualification, etc. More weightage has been given to written examination by the board.
