Education Qualification for CISF SI and ASI Bharti (सीआईएसएफ शिक्षा योग्यता)

CISF Candidates need to have Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board or University or equivalent.

Age Limit for CISF SI and ASI Vacancy

  • Minimum Age Limit: 18 years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 25 Years

All the candidates applying for CISF Exam should not be less than 18 years of age and should not be more than 25 years of age. (Note: for few post upper age limit 23 years)

Upper Age Relaxation

You will be getting the Upper age limit will be relaxable according to the rules for the reserved category.

CISF Physical Standard Test (PST) (सीआईएसएफ शारीरिक मानक पीएसटी)

Here are all the CISF Physical Standard Test criteria. Keep all the details in your mind and start your preparation now.


  • Males- 165 cms
  • Females- 155 cms


  • Unexpanded- 77 Cms,
  • Expanded-82 Cms


  • Males and Females: proportionate to height

CISF Physical Efficiency Test (CISF PET) शारीरिक क्षमता परीक्षण (पीईटी)

You need to qualify for the PET exam to get the final selection. It does not carry any marks. Check all the Eligibility criteria below for your reference.

Male Candidates:

  • Long Jump: 11 Feet
  • High Jump: 3 and ½ Feet

For Female Candidates:

  • Long Jump: 9 Feet
  • High Jump: 3 Feet


Visual Standard:

Visual Acuity unaided (near vision)

  • Better eye – N6
  • Worse eye – N9

Uncorrected visual acuity (distant vision)

  • Better eye-6/6
  • Worse Eye-6/9


Visual correction of any kind is not permitted even by glasses

  • Color vision

Note: In a right-handed person, the right eye is the better eye and vice versa, Binocular vision is required
