Physical Standard in CISF Bharti (सीआईएसएफ में शारीरिक मानदंड) – General

Physical Criteria in CISF – For physical Measurement, PST is held. PST Stands for Physical Standard Test. Which is held to measure the candidate’s chest, Height, and other physical parameters to test whether the candidate stands fit or unfit.

CISF Constable Tradesman PET/PST Criteria 2021

The call letters/admit cards for PET/PST, Documentation, Trade Test, Written Test, and Detailed Medical Exam will be available on the website and can be downloaded from the direct link of the CISF Admit Card.

You need to go through the below rounds, one after other, in PST/PET of Tradesman

  • Height Bar Test
  • 1.6 Km Race in 6 minutes 30 seconds by male candidates
  • Physical Efficiency Test

Those who do not qualify height test will be rejected rest of the candidates will move to race around. those who disqualify in the race will be out. Those who qualify PET will go through height, chest, and weight by the Board of Officers.

Who is Ex-servicemen (Relaxation Applicable on Ex-Servicemen)?

An ”Ex-servicemen” means a person who has served in any rank (whether as a combatant or as a noncombatant) in the Regular Army, Navy, and Air Force of the Indian Union.

Ex-Servicemen who are Havildar, Lance Naik, or Sepoy in the Army or equivalent rank in the Air Force or Navy are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector/Steno.

Ex-servicemen holding the rank of Subedar, Nb-Subedar, Havildar/Naik or equivalent rank in the Army/Air Force/Navy may also compete in this Recruitment for lower post provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria and also they furnish their willingness in writing that in the event of their selection they will not claim the post equivalent to the rank they were holding in the Defense Forces.

Break-in Service: Should not be more than 03 years from the date of discharge.

Medical Category: They should also possess the same medical standards prescribed for direct recruits for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector/Steno in CISF. Check below.

CISF Medical Standard (सीआईएसएफ में मेडिकल स्टैंडर्ड)

All the candidates who had applied for the CISF exam should fulfill SHAFE 1 standard. SHAPE medical standard is an acronym for Psychology (S), Hearing (H), Appendages (A), Physical (P), and Eyesight (E). Here one stands for best and 5 for worst.

Candidates should not have below medical condition, else you will face rejection

  • knock knee
  • Flat Foot
  • varicose vein
  • squint in eyes
  • the mental disorder of any kind

Note: In a right-handed person, the right eye is the better eye and vice versa, Binocular vision is required

Must read: The candidates must not have knock knees, flat foot, Varicose vein, or squint in eyes. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

For Ex-servicemen PST

No race/ Physical Efficiency Test will be held for Ex-Servicemen at the time of their recruitment. However, they need to appear at the time of the PST/PET event to record their measurements, documentation, and produce their education certificate and other testimonials of fitness.

Tattoo in CISF Exam (सीआईएसएफ में टैटू)

Content of tattooBeing a secular country, the religious sentiments of our countrymen are to be respected, and thus, tattoos depicting religious symbols or figures and the name, as followed in the Indian Army are to be permitted.
Location of tattooTattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm but only left forearm, being non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands are to be allowed
Size of tattooSize must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body
