Height bar and Chest Chart
The height and chest categories wise is given below

| General category | 170 cms | 80-85 cms |
| Candidates belonging to Garhwal, Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, Leh & Ladakh, Kashmir Valley, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Sikkim, and North–Eastern States shall be 165 cms. | 165cm | 77-82 cms |
| Candidates hailing from the North-Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura | 162.5cm | 77-82 cms |
| All candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes hailing from the NorthEastern States as above and the Left Wing Extremism affected districts. | 160 cms | 76-81 |
| All candidates belonging to the ScheduledTribes other than the North-Eastern States and Left Wing Extremism affected districts | 162.5cm | 76-81cms |
The general height for Female Candidates is 157 cm.
After qualifying in the height and chest category the candidates are shortlisted for PET. now let us discuss the Physical efficiency test(PET).
If you fail in PST then you are OUT of the race of recruitment.
Physical Endurance Test (PET)
The PET consists of Running, High Jump, and Long Jump for the candidates and after qualifying in the height and chest category the candidates are shortlisted for PET.
Running
- Male 1.6 km and should complete the distance within 7.30 minutes.
- Female 800 M and should complete them within 4.45 minutes.
Long Jump
- Male 11 ft – 3 chances are given.
- female 09 ft – 3 chances are given.
High Jump
- Male 3.5 ft – 3 chances are given.
- female 3 ft – 3 chances are given.
The PET round should be qualified by the candidate for further selection.
ITBP Medical Test
An extension eye checkup will be carried out by experts. Visual correction of any kind is not permitted.
Visual Acuity unaided (NEAR VISION)
- Better Eye: N6
- Worst Eye: N9
Uncorrected visual acuity (DISTANT VISION)
- Better Eye: 6/6
- Worst Eye: 6/9
