RRB NTPC Syllabus 2022

Railway NTPC Syllabus – Let’s know the syllabus in detail subject-wise. There is a total of 4 subjects in the preliminary and main exams. So here we are discussing each subject syllabus. Let me tell you RRB NTPC is recruiting for 9 posts.

For all of the posts, the RRB NTPC Exam pattern is the same and a written exam is conducted for each post. It means all the post aspirants need to appear for the exam pattern. But aptitude test and typing test is optional for a few posts and mandatory for a few posts. Let’s start RRB NTPC Prelims syllabus and Mains Syllabus (stage 2) branch-wise.

Exam Pattern for RRB NTPC (Non-Technical)

Both the rounds (Prelims & Mains) will have a total of 4 subjects. Only the total number of questions and marks will differ.

RRB NTPC paper syllabus will have below subjects

• Arithmetic (Quantitative Aptitude)
• General Intelligence & Reasoning
• English ( English is rarely asked in the RRB NTPC exam)

Prelims Exam Pattern

Total Marks: 100 Marks

Negative Marking: Yes, 1/4 of negative marking will be in stage 1 (prelims) exam.

Total Time: 90 Minutes

Mains exam pattern

Total Marks: 120 Marks

Negative Marking: Yes, 1/4 of negative marking will be in stage 1 (prelims) exam.

Total Time: 120 Minutes

Note: RRB NTPC exam does not have a fixed number of questions in each section. It is randomly asked in each exam so here you can have a close idea of how many questions can be asked.

The quantitative section is scored and considered easy to solve. Those who have a good catch on mathematics can score good marks. Some questions are tricky so avoid attempting them if you are finding them difficult to solve.
