SSC CGL Document Verification Process 2022

All the candidates who are qualified in CGL TIER 1, TIER 2, and descriptive Paper (Tier 3) now need to go into Document Verification and DEST/CPT test. There are a few things you should know beforehand for CGL document verification. This instruction may help you in many ways and you get the final selection. Once the verification is completed you will be allowed to sit in the SSC CGL dest/CPT test paper.

What are the documents required in the SSC CGL document verification process?

Below is the list of documents you need to carry while going through the document verification process for the SSC CGL exam.

• 10th Class Mark-sheet + Pass Certificate
• 12th Class Mark-sheet + Pass Certificate
• Degree mark-sheet of all semester/year and degree certificate
• Post preference Form Filled and duly signed
• Caste certificate in case of OBC/SC/ST candidate.
• Central Govt. Civilian Employee certificate and NOC in case of candidate availing age relaxation under CGCE.
• Discharge certificate in case of Ex-servicemen candidates
• OH/HH/VH certificate in the prescribed format in case of the Physically Handicapped category
• All documents must be duly self-attested for verification
• 04 passport size photographs (2 required)
• ID proof (Voter card/Identity card issued by the college etc.)
• If the candidate’s name is changed after the 10th Class affidavit that is a must and required.

SSC CGL Document Verification Procedure

• Report on the venue as per the given time on admit card.
• Reach the venue before time to avoid any last-minute hassle.
• Carry all the required documents with you (see the document list above and cross-check)
• First of all, you will be taken to a fingerprint biometric machine to mark your attendance.
• Now you will be asked to self-attested (duly sign with date) all the required documents.
• Here, you need to fill out a form where you need to fill in Height, identification marks on the body, blood group, signature, thumb impression, etc.
• Now your photograph will be taken.
• After that, your preference will be finalized.
• You need to sign two data verification sheets and need to submit one and bring the other for DEST/CPT test.

• Carry a photocopy of all the required documents
• You have required to self-attested all the document’s photocopy (duly signed)
• Don’t forget to carry valid ID Proof.
